    Ebay idiot!

Right guys so i have been eyeing up a few subs in the last few days, and low and behold found a fantastic package on ebay, 3000w earthquake sub with amp, power cap and all the wires.

Really good stuff i thought, so i bid...i won the auction at £155...but he was asking for £40 for courier which i think is a bit steep tbh...

Within a few hours of the auction ending the guy emailed me saying pay in 24 hours or ill relist...even though there is no such provision in his listing!!

I emailed back saying listen mate could you at least pack the stuff up and give me the measurements and rough weight so i can arrange a courier...as £40 is a bit steep and i could easily arrange one..

This is what he emailed back..

Tell you what, you should be happy to get this
bundle for £195, the fkin amp is worth more than
that itself, but nahh u takin the mickey and tryna
get it even cheaper, I sold it last nite for 400£
to one of my mates, coz u r jus wastin my time.

Tell you what if you want you can leave me bad
feedback or w/e but dont forget u ll get the same
thing back, ya noe wt i mean init, so mite as well
pretend this never happened, up to u init

sry mate but I aint got time to fk around, if u
dnt wanna buy stuff at like 1/3 of what its really
worth and still tryna get it even cheaper dun
    waste my time.

So as you can see...blatently he is upset at having let his stuff go for less than he wanted..what a complete dickhead!!

He then sent me a request to cancel the transaction..i dont think so!

What you guys reckon i should do? To be honest i think ill report him for being a complete waste of space..

Had exactly the same thing when I bought a set of alloys ages back for my old car. They drew us in when we were asking questions about them and if they could send them via currior. But as soon as the auction ended they wouldn't give them up as we won them for a very low price!

Ebay then got involved but nothing happened.

My advice would be to get into contact with ebay and open up a complaint, but then look else where. Plus I didn't know you could give negative feedback to buyers?

Did he specify £40 when you were bidding?

    EDIT:

Just checked, yes he did specify £40 when you bid, yes he is being a **** in his emails but you are also wasting his time, if you were not happy with the postal charges then you shouldn't have bid! He also mentions he would prefer pickup and actually mentions in the listing that shipping will be £40.

I understand that he said shipping would be £40, but how would i be wasting HIS time by arranging a courier myself to pick it up?

It wouldn't be any extra bother, in fact it would save him the hassle of trying to organise one himself!

Just a dickhead who is trying to weasel himself out of a sale tbh..

    I would report him,

Happened to me buying alloys, got them cheap, the seller emailed me saying the wheels were involved in a crash and got damaged, i didnt belive a word of it so i emailed back saying its bullshit you just wanted more money, No reponse from him after that.

So left a negative feedback for wasting my time, he didnt use that ebay account again

In the auction does to specify £40 courier OR free collection?? If so then yes he is being a dick, threw a negative his way as IIRC he can't neg you back (new ebay rules)

IF on the other hand his only postal method was a £40 courier you should have contacted him prior to make sure it was ok to use your own.

Personally i'd neg him out of spite being text typing 'tard
