    Mot ???

    Has anyone failed there mot because of their lowering springs? As i was told that it can sometimes happen.

    It depends, if they are that low the arches are shredding your tyres then possibly.

    But in general no, unless they are damaged and affect the cars suspension, i.e. is unsafe to drive.

    if car is too low and the wheels "foul" any part of the arch it is a fail,that includes on lock and if a spring is so short that when vehicle jacked up it falls out i.e rears it will fail

    I got an advisory on my old Corsa as I was using standard dampers with 50mm springs and the rear ones were loose when jacked up. I got shortened dampers asap though.

    Unless you have dodgy cut/welded springs or the tyres are clearly scrubbing badly, then you will otherwise be 100% fine in that aspect.

    If it is too low and they cant drive it onto the ramp that is an instant fail
