    Air con or windows down?

Which is more fuel efficient on a hot day?

I think it takes fuel to run the air con?

and having the windows down creates drag so more fuel is needed however little to get past this.

Any majour difference between the two?

depends on speed really, in town or at 30/40 the windows wont make a massive difference, but on the motorway it will cause significant drag and also be bloody loud and annoying

I find windows down doesnt even cool me at all, all you get is an annoying sound against your ears and wam air flowing in your face.

    AC vs. Windows Down
Going less than 50mph it is more efficient to leave the windows down, but going greater than 50mph it is more efficient to use the A/C.
