    upgraded brakes?

    im upping the power of my gsi to around the 350-400bhp mark
    what brake setup would be advised? upgraded discs and calipers?

    im also looking for some 4pots for mine atm, just been looking at some aston martin brakes, i know regal sell a 4pot kit but alot of those who use them sell them shortly after for some reason...

    Ill be keeping watch on the thread

    hi-spec do good kit,and lmf sell willwood kits..i think i will end up with a wilwood kit as i want too keep my snowflakes..courtenay are doing a 292 vented rear disc kit for the vxr that also fits the mk4 astras at £745..along with a good front brake kit that will be awsome braking power!!

    If i were doing brakes id goto probs 322 and a 4pot on front. should be able to sqeeze a snowflake over.

    didnt realise the 4pot set up would be over a grand...might just stick with vxr upgrade for time being

    Just buy brembo calipers off ebay and make your own plates. get some braided hose, £200 job tbh.

    Fiat coupe 20V turbo brembo 4pots can be had from £100 upwards

    Only downside is, GSI/ACT discs are 25mm thick and the limit of the calipers is 24mm

    Could always get them machined though, and have some custom carriers made

    Exactly buddy, all you need to do is make the brackets.

    I didnt know that the Fiat ones had a limit of 24mm

    Anything really, just make a bracket to fit the caliper to the hub
