    Hardings Syndrome

Does anyone know anything about Hardings Syndrome, a family member's partner (i.e. not a blood relation) has been diagnosed with it and we know very little about it. Google hasn't really turned up any results.

All I know is it's a combination of Multple Scleorsis and Leber hereditary optic neuropathy.

Just looking for some gen. info regarding it really, prognosis, future effects, etc.

    Any help is appreciated.

cheers guys, I will try contacting that guy. The BMJ requires you to pay to view but for the sake of knowing may be worth it.

Found out a fair bit of info about MS through friends and research and Lebers through researching. Seems Hardings is a rarer condition than I first thought, there's hardly any information about it.

Our local hospital basically told us to Google it. Don't get me wrong the guy is fantastic he is the first doctor to actually get a proper diagnosis and arrange for all the proper scans, etc. He just didn't have much info to hand as it's rare. I will try giving the Dr an e-mail but I'll stick a read receipt on it so atleast I know it's been read!
