Headgasket done now have a list of fault codes!!!!

a friend of mines head gasket went last week on a 2001 coupe turbo, so we changed it.
put the head back on last nite and connected everything up and now we have a list of fault codes:

    Keyword #1: EF
    Keyword #2: 8F
    Normal timing parameter set.

Total number of fault codes: 7

P0115 - Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High Input
    (01) - Intermittent

P1122 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1-2 Correlation
    (08 ) - Present

P1120 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1-2 Correlation
    (08 ) - Present

P1105 - Barometric Boost Pressure Sensor Short To Battery
    (01) - Present

P0235 - Boost Pressure Sensor Short To Battery
    (01) - Present

P0100 - Mass Or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input
    (01) - Intermittent

P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit High Input
    (01) - Intermittent

its strange because ever since we stripped it down, everytime you put the keys in the fans would come on, but i didnt think anything of it at the time. the battery has been disconnected for about a 4 days.
also the throttle pedal is very lazy now, you have to hold it down for a couple of seconds before it does anything, but past 3/4000 rpm its ok.

the only thing that i know we did wrong was plugged the map sensor into first o2 sensor and the so the other 2 connecters together (both from) by accident but the car wouldnt idle properly and kept trying to stall. it ran like this for about 10 seconds before we realised, could this have ****ed anything up?
we was determined to get it sorted last nite but by 1:30 this morning we called it a day!!!

weve double checked everything and as far as we can see everything is connected now as it should. all i can think is that when we connect to 2 connectors from ecu that weve shorted something out, as most of the faults seem to be high input or short to battery!!!

the car was mappeed by red.dot about 3 weeks ago, if that makes any difference.

    please help!!!

Do you have the coolant temperature sensor plugged in under the bracket on the side of the head and all the plugs in the cooling ecu?
The truth is always the truth even if you haven't realised it yet...

yea the cts is plugged in and we didnt disconnect the cooling ecu but will double check this tomorrow.

gonna check all fuses to. i keep thinking that we sorted something due to map and 02 sensor mixup.

oh mate, i feel sorry for you because the fault code p1122 is a common issue, and without doubt you are going to need a new ecu setup.

It fries the circuit on the ecu, and being a closed unit there is no way to resolve the issue. I have had it and seen it many times before

Did you remove the battery earth when doing the work? You might have shorted something thats killed it.

    Good luck!

The exact same thing happened to me when my ZLET conversion was done, a mate who was giving me a hand plugged the o2 plug into the MAP plug and it killed the ECU.

Everything in an ECU works on 5v, the o2 sensors have a 12v power feed to them for the built in heater so you've fed 12v into the ECU and fried it
