    Zafira Gsi Clonking Noise

Can someone please give me some ideas as to what my clonking noise could be?

Sometimes when i pull away or turn a corner i get a single clonk that sounds like its coming from the front drivers wheel somewhere as i feel it through the steering wheel.

Pretty sure its not the abs as it can do it a number of times in the same journey.

    Thanks

Does it happen just the once after you pull away for the first time after starting the car? If so, then it's just the ABS resetting, nothing to worry about. If not, then it could be a number of things, you need to check for play in the suspension and driveshafts.

not sure.. kinda hard to understand exactly where its comming from really.

only think i can think of is jack the car up and check for play in the droplinks, ball joint etc.. grab the wheel and try to move it from side to side.. this should indicate if th eball joint is on its way..

Ok Just had a quick check underneath both arches and found one of the wishbone bolts was not as tight as the rest - tightened that up went for a drive and fingers crossed its not done it yet.
