    Bucket Seats

Anyone know anywhere or anyone that has decent bucket seats (with or without harnesses) I have looked around ebay and stuff and there all around £250-£500

Im looking to spend probably around £100-£200 for a good clean set.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks guys.

Probably a stupid question but do they have to be bucket seats? You can usually pick up a full set of Vectra GSi Recaro's for £200 or so on eBay and they are superb seats.

I wouldnt bother redtopping it TBH. you need to fabricate mounts, splice looms and connect stuff up and most of them now have rocket miles on so unless you plan on going for a full rebuild then it will more than likely have a few issues and nowhere near the 150bhp it came out the factory with 15-20 years ago.

If you do plan on doing a rebuild with the cost you pay to have it done you could almost pay for a low mile zlet.

DFD Vauxhall in newcastle used to charge £550 to fit one. Ive got no idea of anywhere else that fits them
It would definitely go better with an engine in it

Do they source the engine for you also or do you have to find it yourself?

nope. that was just for fitting.

You would need to find the engine, gearbox (f20 or f23 will mate up), shafts, engine loom, ecu etc etc
It would definitely go better with an engine in it

Not sure on MK, but they only did one type of GSi seat I believe - search eBay for 'vectra recaro' and look for the GSi ones.

The fronts fit with, as far as I know, new rails. Rear 'rears' fit perfectly, bench can be made to fit in two ways:

Bolt the split sections together or
Have the Vectra material taken off and re-fitted to the Astra bench by a suitable company - probably set you back £100 but it possibly the better way.

Or just get a pair of fronts and leave the rears - you'd have mismatched seat colours anyhow with buckets.
