    Idle problem

Hi just wondering if anybody can help,

my car is reving itself upto 1500rpm when in idle, i got the car about a month ago and the cylinder head had to be replaced when they did the MOT and the car wasnt doing it befoee they replaced it when i test drove it, it was fine then when went to pick it up it has the problem.

Have been back to them and they have replaced the o2 sensor but that has not stopped it, it is not as bad unitl engine warms up, have looked at the throttle body and it is full of oil (is this normal).

Also in the time i have had it the oil has gone from full to half again is this normal? Also when you put your hand upto the back box the exhaust smells of petrol would this have anything to do with it?

    Thanks
