Cut Price Petrol @ BP today!

just popped into my local bp and noticed a huge sign saying cut price fuel...

so i asked the guy at the counter and sure enough unleaded was priced at 116.9! however diesel was still 122.9

the guy also said this promotion will be on for one day every week, but on random days so i couldnt give you the next time this will be on.

so yeah just thought i would share that really.

by the way this was the bp in knutsford so no idea if nationwide

I was expecting something like £1.10, but its not that much of a cut and unless its en route to where you are going you would probably pay more in the extra miles just getting to the station.

Its wierd how we now class £1.16 as cheap! Were actually getting ***** by the government and oil companies in this country, when i started driving it was 80p a litre and I thought that was expensive, 3 years is along time lol

not to open a can of worms, but it isnt just the tax on fuel that is pushing the price up, the greed of the oil companies is also playing its part.
