you need to get the car tracked and the camber set up

and the knocking it happened to me to
find out witch one is making the noise and you will have to take it out,
now take the coilover a part, like the springs

now when you have the shock on its own look at were the shock in certs into the unit it is probley not tight, just tighen it up and it should be fine

ok mate cheers for that, how much is it roughly to have tracking and camber done

a mate of mine said that the two bolts on the bottom of the suspension undo them and pull the hub out towards me

Your camber is WAAAAAY out, I would get a look in there straight away, something might be seriously up with the car, If it was me I wouldnt even drive the car untill you get it looked at.

Nope, still get it set up correctly.

My Camber was out by 1.5 degrees after hitting a kerb (and not visible looking at the car), the tyre lasted less than 200miles before it burst.

If you've fitted new suspension, you should get the front wheel geometry set up anyway.

Should cost around £50-£60 for full laser set up, but cheaper than a new pair of tyres, plus your car will feel SO better to drive.
