well planned i have a list as long as my arm
but got a little un on the way so i think this will be staying quite tame.
but think the alloys i had on the old car will be going on (if they dont go with the old car)
and i might uprate the speakers/stick a sub in.
also want to sort the front bumper out. alot of it is gunna be getting it up to standard, its got a few dints and scrapes. and the rear light is cracked (i think there is water getting in through it, as theres a nasty smell and a wet boot floor)

but if i had the cash the list is

    bonnet bra
    bonnet extention
    coilovers
    euro style rims
    possibley chequered roof
    gsi/coupe front bumper
    colour code rub strips/door handles
remove the rear griffin (already got rid of the name badges)
    and a twin exit backbox

but who knows what the next yr or so will bring me

I've been looking for a set of GSi headlights for months on ebay and its only the new ones for £59.99. Might just bite the bullet or spray my own.

Don't you think the slatted grill has been done to death? IMO crosshatch for the win everytime. Each to their own, I would love a honeycomb grill that would loooook amazing

Ive been contemplating buying that grille. Its on offer on an Ebay shop, cheapest one around.
Does it fit well or not? Cant decide whether to get one as i dont know if the difference will be worth it.

I found with my old cheap grill of ebay that the holes provided on the grill were too small, so the GM screws used to hold on the original grill were too large, managed to split one of the screw holders on the cheapo grill, but they look alright.

the slatted grill has been done to death, but at 13 quid. or anything over 60 for a cross hatch one, think ill stick with what ive got

as for fitting. i had to bore out the screw holes abit. be very carefull as when id got the right size the plastic started to stretch ready for breaking.
but the overall fit isnt as bad. once its screwed in it sits tight and nice

    deffo go for it

Ye they say its a straight fit the the after market grills don't take the original screws :@ quite annoying!

went to put mine on Saturday only to find the screws didn't fit. Couldn't modify the holes either as my dad has the drill.

    Pain in the arse
