will this t-cut (or similar) work on this??

took the bikes out today, on the back of the car, and like a complete idiot forgot to take 1 of the pedals off on the 2nd bike. I am now left with this on my boot:

running my finger along it, you can tell that it has gone through the laquer and paint.

So is this t-cutable or a trip to the body shop? what do you reckon?

PS pictures are the best sorry.

    cheers

If its gone through both i would guess body shop, cause it must be pretty deep right?

to be honest it doesn't feel that deep, but in paint/laquer terms it may be.

am sure you cant use t-cut if it has gone through the laquer, which i am assuming this has due to there being a greyish colour where the scratches are.

How large are the scratches? I can't really tell from these pictures. Could always try a touch up pen (just a suggestion) but a body shop will sort it out lol, dunno how much they will charge though.

to big!! lol about 4inches long and a few mil wide.

think they are to big for a touch up pen, so will give it a go with full wash polish wax and t-cut in a bit. If that dosent work then a call to a mate who owns a body shop is the next step.

thought i would ask on here, as after giving her a good polish/wax last weekend this has given me the hump. such a school boy error!! So was hoping in the back of my mind, it can be easily sorted!! lol

well that's if he can fit me in, i know he is really busy with a few drift cars etc at the mo, but failing that i also know of a very good body shop near me. So i would rather pay up and get it sorted, than leave it and do a bodge job.

T cut wouldnt touch that to be honest, if you can feel ANYTHING on the surface of the scratch, tcut will be useless.. had a similar scratch on my corsa, tcut failed.
