help building a template of door card

okay so ive just removed my drivers side door card, essentially i want to build a very discreet speaker pod at the bottom that looks standard, and just fabric it like the rest of the door card, my main issue is i have no idea how to create a template or mould to start fibering!

a little something like this (but nowhere near as powerfull haha)

can anyone offer up any tips please?

If you look closely, that build is mounted to the bottom of the original door card.
How good are you at working with MDF, fibre glass & fillers?

im willing to learn haha, im not too bad with wood to be honest, and filler is everyones friend yeah i was looking at that, ill assume they just cut out a section of the door card but basically left the hard plastic frame in around the edge..

may have to take a trip to the scrappers this weekend and get a couple of door cards to have a crack with
