Oil restrictor on standard ZLET turbo

As above, is it of any benefit to fit an oil restrictor to a standard ZLET turbo to help make it last longer? Mine has now done 93k and is showing no signs of problems yet but was wondering if it may help keep it running a bit longer than it might it one weren't fitted.

    Thanks

I'm not sure but i thought oil restrictors were mainly for VXR units on Let engines? I'm sure someone can correct me if im wrong.

Yeah most people only use them if fitting a vxr unit although i have heard a couple put them on anyway especially if mapping or you have a heavy foot

Cheers Ian, very interesting. I knew the Z20LET/LEH oil pumps were well built (The C20LET boys like them) but I didn't know they were THAT powerful.

My turbo smokes after a really REALLY heavy foot session so this might be the answer, best place to buy??
