    ARB rattle

I fitted my Whiteline ARB saturday and im really impressed by it,cant believe how much its improved the handling. However,it seems to sit very close to the rear beam, and on poor roads (which ones in the UK arnt!) it seems to bounce off of it The guides show it sitting alot further forward than mine. Iv fitted the brackets that use the beam bolts as per the guides, but im wondering if i put them the other way (slanting toward the front of the car) if that would help. Also,i had to really struggle to get the 8 shaped hanging bushes to sit inside of the ARB. Managed in the end with BFAI,but thought it would have lined up better. Any hints and tips would be great. Should i loosen everything up,and try to move it? The brackets that mount on the rear beam bolts were sitting level, and i tightened everything up at the end on level ground.

I dont really want to put it on a softer setting,as i like it the way it is,just wish it didnt bang against the rear beam. Il get under her Thursday, and have a look, makesure everything is tight, and see if i can move it back at all. Also, the L shaped brackets that mount to the spring seat, were not symmetrical regarding the hole positions. Both had 2 holes (one slightly higher),but when mounted to the car, i couldnt get both the higher holes to match up. Its like i had 2 of one hand.

cheers for the pics Hoops, looks mighty close to the fuel tank! Mine is the other way,its stupidly close to the beam. Does your not rub or bang at all?
If all else fails,il get a load of pipe insulator and put that round it to stop the banging! lol

Yeah i posted a thread after fitting as i thought it looked a bit close.....but actually there is a shield around the tank so technically it wouldnt be doing any damage.
But no in answer to your question. Havent got any rattles from it. Ive fixed my suspension clonk by taking off the rear bilstein b4s and going back to standards. They will be sent back as have only done 500 miles.
