    Exclamation if i had a boost leak would it show on my boost gauge?

    Suspisions on a boost leak on my car would it show on my boost guage?

    should read -22hg on tickover and 0 when engine is off, any different would usually indicate a bost leak

    If you mean when boosting it won't necessarily show, if you have a leak the turbo will compensate by spinning even faster.

    -22hg? Mine says about -40hg (unless cmHG is different). Its an old blitz 60mm gauge.

    dont know if cmhg is differrnt. my gauge doesnt go that far down. im 99.9% sure those figures are correct though.

    Errr yes there is a slight difference between inches and centimetres.
    22inch Hg sound right, 40cm Hg sounds rather low (16inch Hg).

    Good old wiki -

    In English units: 1 inHg = 0.491098 psi, or 2.036254 inHg = 1 psi.

    didnt realise they had different hg's. mine just says hg, now inhg or cmhg.
