Gear Gator moving up and down.....

I have fitted my black and blue alcantara gaitor and it looks superb.

The only issue i have is the area where you tighten the cable tie so its tight to the gear stick. I have done this as tight as i could but it tends to still slide lose and moves up and down on the gear stick.

Has anyone else got the same problem? If so how did you fix it??

    Thanks!

If it's the same fitment as the set I have, I took the cable tie out of the gearstick and fitted it the other way around so the gaitor fitted as per the OEM one. No issues with slippage so far.
