    Arm rest query

Have used the search function but can't find anything on it.

What i'm wanting is an interior photo of the arm rest.

I'm wanting to know its storage capacity.

While i'm finding out those 2, i may as well ask whether it gets in the way of the handbrake or not??

Reason being .... after using my dads Sierra, i found myself using his armrest a lot without really noticing it & it's pretty handy.

Only thing is though, that square bit behind the handbrake that it sits in, i use it. I store my drink in there for work as theres nowhere else in the car to put it.
I know the glovebox door has cup holder slots, but they're no good as i sit in the passenger seat on my breaks at work.

So basically ....... it all boils down to will the armrest hold a 750ml bottle of evian water?

Why not use the bottle holder built in to the front doors.

Once you have an arm rest you will never look back, you will realise that the cup holder wasn't worth it, you should be able to force that into the holder in the door.

Arm rest feels a bit strange at the start with regards to the hand brake but after a while it feels perfectly normal, I will never look back.

It doesn't fit in the door cards & i'd have to fair jam it in there to get it to nearly fit.

I know it's almost comical that the decision is down to this, but i spend 3x breaks a day in my car & need somewhere to stick the bottle.

If it fits in the armrest, then it's a go, otherwise it's a no.

Even if nobody has a 750ml bottle to test it out, can anyone give interior measurements as a sort of guideline?
