What to do with my front bumper?

Last year I had a bump and the one side of the bumper is all scratched with small cracks. Even with all the cleaning, polishing and waxing it's very noticeable and as I'm doing a few cheap mods, I want to make the car have a clean look (debadged, subtle mods).

I know my options are to either have it repaired and resprayed or buy a new/scrappy bumper. Only thing is, there doesn't seem to be many of the Astra's around with the metallic dark blue, only flat blue. Can anyone advise me on the best thing to do?

The entire front bumper is scratched and chipped from stones and grit so the whole thing would need a respray. What prices would I be looking at for that?

I got a replacement bumper off ebay last year. I think it was £115, but it was a new bumper and professionally sprayed any colour you want. With or without fog light holes were the same price. If that is what you're after I can dig up the link for you.

And a respray would probably cost you something similar to what a new bumper would!

If you could find the link for me please that would be a great help!

The local body shop is one of the cheapest and best working people around here so I'll pop down there tomorrow for a quote. I was thinking of a different OEM bumper, one that looks smoother. I'm going to see about getting the bonnet resprayed too because it's scratched fairly bad (got it from the scrappy).

Does that bumper come with the clips and everything i.e. everything that's needed so it can be fitted straight on when it arrives?

Oh and the clips you can reuse from the old bumper, or if you want order some more from vx, they only cost pennies

If you are looking for the smooth look then a coupe bumper is what you need IMO

Will a coupe bumper fit the normal shape? I thought they were a tad wider.

How much am I likely to pay for that?
