    glass cleaner???

    anyone recommend a good glass cleaner to get rid of those smears?

    To be honest AG fast glass has always worked for me, i hang a glass cloth open out full on a washing line give it 2-3 squirts and use it that way, i find if you spray it direct onto the glass it takes longer to get clean.

    I use Megs NX Glass Cleaner, applied as above. Always gives me superb results with minimal effort. Stopped the occasional misting I used to get aswell.

    I've used it on the house mirrors occasionally

    i tend to do the following and my windows come out fantastic.

    firstly wash as normal. then use newspaper and vinegar then finish off with normal mr sheen window cleaner.
    Mk5 2.0l turbo sri. now dead
    but riding around in a mk6 2.0l cdti sri

    I've heard this before but it seemed a bit ghetto so never tried it

    newspaper and vinegar works a treat to get rid of the smears would certainly recommend people do it. just be careful not to pour vinegar on your paintwork though, dont think it would be to good for the paint.

    i use this. its awesome stuff
