    Gear gaitor??

    Just wondering is it easy to change the gear gaitor as mine is completely worne and looks horrible any advice? cheers

    What are you after replacing it with? a standard like for like replacement.
    Or a Leather or alcantara one

    The new one from Vauxhall comes with a Tiewrap and the plastic surround.

    So.

    Remove the panel under the handbrake handle.

    Remove the two Torx (star) Screws.

    Lift up the gearlever surround.

    On the gear lever cut the tie wrap and remove, then lift the panel and gaiter off the gearstick.

    Unclip the plactic surround from the gearlever surround.

    Fit the new gaitor into the panel, slip over the gearstick and do up the tiewrap (cut off the excess)

    Refit panel and do up the screws, replace hand brake panel.

    Easy.
