    ported and polished throttle :)

    woke up this morning to find my new throttle had arrived and top hat for my z18xe, before it was evan fitted i started to port n polish it !

    this is the first time "i think" this has been done on a z18xe engine to elimante restriction

    let me know think!!!

    lol but isnt the inside manifold severely limited in bore to improve torque, it would be like using a funnel

    rater pointless tbh and a waste of time a knife edged butterfly would have been a better idea but still not worth the hassle
    best off with a set of throttle bodies

    You can get a little improvement from this if done right, but I suspect work needs to be done to the butterfly to get the most from it. Airflow quality vs perceived quantity and all that.

    Courtenay seem to think their flowed TB work is worth 5bhp or so, but they want £265 for the job!

    well its more responsive, and spitting big flames between shifts, well worth the time n effot the top hat seams to take a lot of restriction few bhp gain
