In my brocken let to leh convertion into a mk4 b coupe
Some members might know of my situation
without going into details too much
i have put an leh engine with intercoolere'rad pack in a mk4/
car runs but didn't rev over 5000
getting op com into it now
I also and still have both ac and rad fan coming on full blast
Well the cam sensor plug didn't fit the let wiring loom,(but i managed to wire it up temporarily)but it didn't seem right, so i baught a new gm cam sensor fo £41 cheap what? and i have just fitted it
turns out to be the best buy so far, new coolant mod,2x new thermostats(2nd cool running) new cts, i need a new rad wiring loom now cos i broke the connecter to the ecu,
WHOOOYEY now goes over 7000revs and i'm nearly there
240 plus bhp here i come
It is realy scary tho ive never had a car that revs so high
I havn't driven her yet AHHH!
And im still a long way from the finished product
I feel like running down the street naked tho,
i'm on a high to say the least

You need to use all let sensors and loom with the leh block as far as i was aware, i remember your problems however in previous posts i seen you say you had used let sensors?
What problems remain now you have fixed the limp mode?

OHH SH-t i think i have parted with most of the let sensors, they all looked the same to me,
Right ive just finished in the garage and i think i'm no longer on limp
I can't possibly be on limp now because it revs so high.
i have brocken the connecter to the coolant ecu mod,(tacken it off that many times)
but , i'm pretty sure both fans still come on
Still no temp guage on dash
0p com tells me temp censor intermittant high reading or something,(wrong sensors??) the oil sump sensor i think fits but not sure,(i know i was supposed to wire it up differently tho.
What sensors will i have to replace do you think?
the maf sensor i know is similar,
the bcs both look the same.
im using the let afm
leh ac sensor
on opcom in the fault code page, at the bottom you should see measuring blocks...
what is the reading from the coolant temperature, also the reading from your intake temperature, and mass air flow voltage
not sure which sensors you'll need to change, bcs you wont though as there the same part number on both engines, i remember you saying you have epc so check part numbers of which is different
what ident code do you have on the coolant control module, it should be cg or something... both fans will be on constant if you have an issue with the coolant temperature sender, which can be checked with the readings from those on measuring blocks...

Ha i baught op com and its compatable with widows xp (i have windows 7)
So i took my old computer out, real awkward getting set up
But now i found my old laptop, with xp, so im gonna try that soon
