    Dump valve question

    Hey all am looking into getting a dump valve for my mk4 gsi just wondering which 1s are the best,loudest and wats the benifits of fitting 1 can u get any problems of running 1 much help appriciated thanks

    they mess up your intake readings and have internals like butter

    my first baileys one lasted 2 months before it was sucking in air

    and both my GSI's ran like shit with DV's fitted
    Ibiza FR CR TDI with 203 BHP

    If u must get a DV - get a Collins

    So much better than the ludicrously shit Bailleys ones

    Whatever you do, leave the original recirc valve well alone - some ppl fit a 1 way valve in this vac line which in effect cancels it out so the aftermarket (in this case, Collins) only works - but this will more than likely cause running issues - most commonly stalling etc

    I personally have the Collins running in unison with the original (or in my case the Evo MS recirculating in place of the original)

    As above though, the car certainly runs a lot smoother without an aftermarket one fitted......like most turbo owners though - its a bit pants without that magic tiiisssssssh!
