could any body put some pictures up of how to setup the oe dump valve on my z20let. the lad who had it before me has by passed the rear boost solonoid and left the oe dump valve with a one way valve in .after hearing about the turbo chatter id rather put mine back to normal.

With the rear bcs bypassed you can run a pipe from the oe dv to the fpr which I find better, or pipe from oe dv to the rear bcs both with no 1way valve. Has the vacuum box been disconnected aswel?

ye mate its still there. i have tried putting it to the fpr but i get hardly any boost.would i be right if i said the fpr opens the oe dump valve to soon causing it to loose boost pressure?

Does it have an after market dump valve? If not and using a 1 way valve that's why your getting chatter. They can also leak boost, Try putting the 1 way valve on the line to the after Market dump valve and see if it drives better

yes mate its got a baileys on it. so ya want me to put the one way valve in pointing which way? because if the arrow is pointing towards the dump valve its not going to be able to open and if its pointing away from it wont it just hold it open as the air wont be able to pass back through??? i think??

Pointing towards the baileys, will stop it from working but see if the car drives better. The Bailey might be leaking boost causing the turbo to work harder so it chatters.

Have you checked if the pipes on the vac box have come off? I think that's quite a common thing too

Does the pipe from the fpr go striaght to the throttle body? If so run the oe dv off that line, and put the 1way valve on the Bailey

Just had a look at the piping for the vac box and it goes as follows

    - FPR
    - T peice to the throttle body
    - Straight pipe
    - T peice plugs into 1 side of the rear BCS
    - Pipe bends around to the vac box and connects to the L shaped rubber hose

the other L peice on the other side of the vac box bends around to the other side of the rear BCS
