    Fined for fog lights......

Well on my home tonight i got pulled by whats seemed to me, two of the most bored traffic cops ever. They purposefully overtook me then undertook me just to pull me over because i unintentionally had my fog lights on.

... and what do i get a 30 pound fine.

What are the rules about fogs ?

I know they can dazzle other drivers but when the A66 in Middlesbrough is dead at 10 o'clock at night who am i going to dazzle !!

Should i pay or should i throw?

How can you unintentionally have them on?? You have to manually turn them on when you start the car and i doubt its been very foggy lately.

Lol, tough luck if it was unintentional but to be honest I despise it so the more people fined the better in my eyes... Pay up...

The Highway Code states that you must use your headlights when visibility is reduced – generally when you cannot see further than around 100 metres (328ft).

The Code also states that you must not use front or rear foglights unless visibility is seriously reduced, and ensure you switch them off when visibility improves to avoid dazzling other road users.

Incorrect use of rear foglights can also obscure your brake lights, making you more vulnerable to a rear-end shunt.

As said, I don't understand how you unintentionally switched them on. You have warning lights right infront of you tell you they're on aswell.

Sorry dude, but pay up and take it like a man. No reason to have your fogs on when its not foggy.
    For free hugs PM me.

    For sex, pm cabriomatt.
