    17.TD engine conversion options

All being well i should be getting a nice Astra Van on a v plate 1.7TD from what a gather the fuel pump is a weak point on these engines and looking on ECP there not cheap to replace.

In a worst case of it throwing its fuel pump whats the cheapest & simplest petrol engine conversion, not looking to build a stormer just a 1.8 or 2.0 eco would do.

I realise i would have to change the fuel tank and lines if converting to petrol

I have a C20XE availble but from what i've read so far its not really that stright forward and not really the done thing in a mk4

If it looks like this then it will be a GM engine.

If it looks like this it will be the Isuzu lump
