    Refitting Dashboard

I've fitted my blue LED's this yesterday to the dashboard section to match the MFD and heater controls I did on Sunday, but then spent about 2 hours to trying to refit it, everytime I think I've got it fitted correctly, I turn the ignition on and nothing, (no rev counter etc).

Also I've lost power steering since changing the LED's is that cos the dashboard isn't fitted correctly.

Can anyone shed any light on this as it's a pain in the butt.

Check the fuses for the clocks and the power steering.

If you don't have the clocks fitted & working then the alternstor wont get its feed from the warning light, so it wont start. If the alternator doesn't start, then the power steering wont work.
Check your clocks are fitted in correctly.
    Check fuse 13 5A & fuse 22 15A.

If the alternator won't start doesn't that mean the car won't start at all?

I've tried following the How to Guide on here, but is there a special technique to refitting the dashboard?

The car will start, but the alternator wont charge, so eventually the battery will go flat.
No special technique, just take your time & carefully align the plug before you operate the latch.

Finally got it sort of fitted, the dash and power steering now works, but the there is a gap at the bottom where the black surround fits.
