see what you guys think of this. every so often my central locking stops working but clears itself about 5 minutes after. however the other day i went out to the car and tried to unlock it with the remote locking and nothing happened i used the key and the drivers door, boot and petrol cap unlocked.
once i moved the car and parked i tried to lock the car. this is when the passenger door was still locked. i again tried with the remote locking and the car's boot and petrol tank locked and then unlocked (due to the drivers door not locking) if i put the key in the door and lock it. the system locks the boot, petrol tank and drivers door.
if i try and unlock the car now it will disarm the alarm and unlock the petrol tank and boot but leaves the drivers door and passenger door locked.
due to deadlocking being on when this happened i can not get into the passenger door which is just driving me up the wall cause i only have 2 doors.
i have tried disconnecting the battery which i didnt think would do anything and it didnt.
i have checked all fuses that i am aware of which could cause an issue again none blown.
only thing i can think of is that the central locking control unit has gone.
i began to think at the start that it could be cables but i highly doubt that both front doors would be affected if this was the case.
any other thoughts on this ??
