    MOT question

    Can i send my car for MOT with the front number plate in the front window?

    I'm going to do this as i'l be swapping back to the standard front bumper for now
    Observe the masses and do the opposite

    as far as im aware u can but it will fail..

    just stick it to the bumper and pass then remove it

    Plate must be under the headlights, above the fogs. Only exception is if the front bumper cannot accept a numberplate, in which case a vinyl version on the bonnet is acceptable (in very rare circumstances tho!).

    I believe there's also a bit in law that it has to be infront of the wheels and not behind glass

    must be correctly fitted in accordance with manufacturer specifictions with correct font and spacing also must carry bs marking and postcode of plate manufacturer and clearly visible with no damage or discolouration

    in short must be in good nik and secured to the bumper

    the joys of being a tester few years ago NEVER AGAIN
