Been busy with some 3M Carbon wrap.

Got a sheet of thie off ebay last week (1.2m x 30cm £15)
Just been keeping myself busy these past 4 or 5 nights.

Steering wheel controls and head light switch surround.

    and door handle too

    Glovebox trim

And what i'm most proud with, is the boot strip.

Gonna get a little more of it, as i still need to do the silver trims on the door cards, and i want to re-do 2 bits. Also thinking of doing the mirror covers.

Very easy George. Sharp craft knife, heatgun or hair dryer, sorted. It's easy to use. You can keep on pulling it off if its not right the first time. It apparently has "pressure sensitive adhesive" meaning it doesn't stick properly till you start pressing it on. Bit of heat to soften it right up, wrap it around the curves and corners, then it cools and goes quite hard again. Have a look at a few vids on Youtube. Search for "3M Di Noc carbon". There's a good vid showing how much you can crumple and crease it, then just add a bit heat, and it goes back to new again, and all creases come back out, and it's ready to go again.

It looks good but not glossy enough for me. I've been thinking of doing a few bits but was thinking about brushing on some PU varnish over the top once the part is covered
