1.3 CDTI doesnt start first time

Not a great fan of these new vauxhall diesels after german cars, have a 4 month old astra SRI 150 XP which chucks out blue on cold start, dealer cant find problem.

Also have 05 plate Combo 1.3CDTI which fails to start first time, any ideas please?

Had all plugs changed, and serviced well, only 40K from new.

My boss who runs corsa 1.3s says this seems normal for them but I find it bloody annoying.

    Anyone else experienced this? Cheers

you need to let the plugs heat up turn the ignition but not the motor, 3-5 seconds start then.

They can do that from time to time, but if it does it everytime you start the car then it would suggest issue there.

blue smoke on start up from the 1.9 150 is normally abit of oil being burnt off from the turbo
