    rear boot strip

    Has any1 put a carbonfiber boot strip on instead of colour codeing it?as i have seen 1 covered in 3m carbon film,or is it a waste of money?you views please.

    Yeah thats the 1 iv had my eye on as long as it dont go for silly money,i have heard that you can have the chrome strip dipped so it comes out in a carbon effect neaver seen this done tho and it would cost a small fortune i think.

    i've just paid £20 for a roll of 3m di-noc carbon fibre film (1200mm x 300mm) going to do it myself as it doesn't look too hard

    Can you do a how to on here from removing strip to covering it, as I am also in process off getting some carbon vinyl

    a guy has posted here: http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/sh...d.php?t=249659 about some carbon wrapping and i think it looks ok.

    would love my chrome strips to be real carbon, but 1 they're not made 2 would probably cost the earth, so wrapping is the next best thing which looks good in my opinion.

    i am totally useless at any sort of "hands on" stuff i would probably ruin the whole thing....gonna get my mate to do it once i get both strips off the car.
