Once the head unit was in, I thought i might aswell have a play with the spray cans, so off to halfrauds and got 2 cans of star silver 2, 2 cans of lacquer, 1 can of primer and 1 can of an undercoat primer (Its just a light coat you spray on first in red to stop it reacting with other paint)

took a little playing with to get all the parts off, but heres the results.

im also considering spraying the door pins or buying irmscher ones.

Once the head unit was fitted and inside was looking abit tidier, i fancied a sub & amp for the boot. My first thought was *The Bigger, The Better!* and got 2 x 1000w alpine subs in a box and a 350w amp it was loud enough but the box weighed a ton and wasnt all that impressive. so i got rid of them and fitted a "played with" Vibe cbr 10 built in 10" sub and amp box which is amazingly loud.

with the inside and sound system done for now, i thought i might aswell buy a few cheap mods for the outside. first up was the debadged grill, had plenty to chose from but liked this one overall. After fitting i then did the "bonnet catch mod" which helped.

i also set about the boot with some boiling water and an old t-mobile top up card, once the badges were off, i was left with a few bits of glue, so sprayed some wd-40 on, left it for a minute or two and scraped it off. followed by t-cut and polish.

Time for some alloys i thought, so browsed a few websites and noticed the wolfrace asia-tech alloys on there website, i took a strong liking towards the asia-tec triad wheels so shopped about for some, with very little luck! alot of people said they wouldnt fit my car or were badly damaged. After posting on facebook "Does anybody have any wheels to fit a 4 stud vauxhall astra or corsa!!" an old friend from school replied with the same wheels i wanted! just in black, so bought them off him and got 4 new tyres fitted.

Can also see the bonnet tab Befor the mod, will soon add pictures of after.

After seing how low the car looked on standard suspention/springs, i thought against lowing it 40/60mm, and bought some Sri springs (20mm lower i belive?) which are still waiting to be fitted.

i had already fitted a K&N cone filter with vectra c cold air intake which made a decent improvment to the sound but wanted a backbox to help aswell. After looking around, i thought i might aswell get an irmscher one, picked it up for £40 deliverd.
