    abs on dash coming on

    is there any easy way to find why the abs sign coming on . the car has been lowered could this affect it. sometimes it goes off on its own but failed mot

    Lowering won't effect it, more than likely a faulty abs sensor on the front wheel hubs.

    try going on grass and braking hard if u feel the abs working the pumps fine and the abs ecu so it could be as little as a fuse, very common on volkswagens but not sure on astras but its worth a shot the fuses are normally on the battery take them all out and give a good clean. The system sees its self as being intermitten due to the dirty fuse and kicks up a fault light, this took my 2 months to find out lol
