    z20let inlet manifold

    how restrictive is the OE inlet manifold on the z20let? when going for 300-400bhp

    Jon at courtenays told me its like a bottle neck and its the only thing stopping me getting over 400bhp on my gt28

    Ateeur had no problem getting 450bhp with the gt30 though but when he did get it done IIRC he made nearly 500bhp

    i am gettin one even thow i am running vxr turbo

    if u seen how far down the back of the engine they go and then back up they are so restricted tom

    Yeah my mate went from 386ish bhp to 420bhp with 1. On a gt28

    They help increase the power above 5k quite a bit in all stages of tune, ive found the stock intake manifold is effecient up to about 350/360 then it really needs changing.

    The inlet is most useful for smaller turbos (gt28 etc) so it holds to power till the end of the revs without it running out of legs at the top of the rev range.
