i've got a fuji which i'm very pleased with 18x optical zoom and 10mp
theres a manual over ride for pretty much everything which is cool for messing about with focusing etc

i'm actually thinking about selling it to buy a DSLR

i'm trying to find what it is .. something like a s8100

    infact yeah its an 8100

dunno how much i really want for it, comes with a 4gb card, hardly been used lol i think the photo counter is at a few thousand?
got the box, manuals, drivers and software
    as new condition

    PM me if your interested

thats the way i was with cameras, and thats why i went for that one. its got manual stuff for if you wanna experiment with settings.
got onscreen white balance, elctronic eye view finder .. whcih is handy to get used to using the eye piece . plus it saves plenty of battery lol (saying that, i didnt change the batteries init for ages as they last for ages haha

i'm wanting to move to a DSLR now

cant really fault the finepix stuff really. other makes to look at would be the panasonic lumix range, but you'll pay more for the same features.

i dont think i've ever seen a sony throw out a bad photo .. although the price put me off and the gimmicky things like touch screen and shake functions (like the ipod touch suffle) just confused me a bit to what it was trying to be lol a photo album or a camera :P

Fuji's are very good camera's. TBH I wouldn't bother with wide angle adaptors, as they will just be screw on filters. Not the best for quality IMO. The lens should be wide enough as it is.
