im looking to spice up the rear end of my mk4 hatch and im deciding what bumper to go for...

the gsi and SRI-T prodrive are my only realistic choices but i was admiring the back end of a coupe on the way home from work today...

If I recall correctly theres a guy on here from Belgium who's fitted a coupe rear bumper to his hatch. Fair bit of work I believe but looks good and you're probably never drive past another hatch with one fitted.

Catlin, just out of interest, where did you manage to get your BMW 330 e46 rear diffuser?

Yeah the whole bottom of the bumper was cut out and the diffuser plastic welded in, followed by plenty of filler etc to smooth the shape at the bottom. I'm unsure as to whether the corner spats would still fit.

Cheers, i'm not entirely sure what was needed in all honesty. It was done by Craig at Griffin Autos in Ampthill whilst the car was in for a full respray. He said it was a real arse to do and much harder to make it look like it belongs there than we originally thought when we offered the diffuser up to the bumper. If i was to do it again i would also have the rear number plate light removed and leds put under the grab handle.
