    Mk4 Astra & Goodmans headunit

    Hi All

I have recently purchased a goodmans GCE7356MP3 headunit for my W reg Astra mk4 CDX to replace the previous owners unknown dvd head unit, upon removal of the previous headunit I have noticed that my car is not fitted with a standard ISO connector and therefore will not plug straight into the new headunit , my questions are a) Should my car have an ISO connector as standard, b) are there any adaptors available for this connector (I believe it is quad block) and if so where from.

Any help would be very appreciated.

    Many Thanks

If your car is a "W Reg" Mk4, i.e. a MY2000 vehicle is should be equipped with an ISO plug that looks like this.

The quadlock connector was only used from the Mk5 onwards.
