Smile new sat nav mod fitted

thought I would post up a pic of my new mod I bought a centre console with cut out for sat nav and have fitted it including a flush on/off button as I wanted a sat nav with similar colours to the centre console which is silver/black so got a sat nav with similar colours silver/black but this wouldn't power on simply from ignition as it has a seperate button on top to turn on/off so got an on/off buttun and made the hole on top and then flushed the button with a hidden stalk which turns the sat nav on/off and then routed the charger behind the console so hidden away and fitted a 2nd lighter socket behind the console to allow permanent charging while ignition is on, not the best pic as using a mobile phone will take one in the day as well to give a better view of it to, just need to find a decent image to use as a start up screen.

se what you meant about the screen bud, so is there a whole in the top to switch sat nav on/off?

no mate you would either need a sat nav that turns on via ignition like the garmin or mod it yourself as I did.

I looked into modding the standard one but tbh there is a lot of work involved in making the top taller elocating the plastic lugs to fit the gaps and then the carrier for the sat nav itself and a brand new one already done is so cheap it's not worth it well wasn't to me. here is the day pic (crappy mobile cameras)
