    No Dv sound hardly...

Right took off the crappy cone filter that was on the car when i got it and put a standard box on only thing now is i cant hear the dumpvalve as much... still there but not as loud.

Am i right in thinking the origional dumpvalve is still working and not been blanked off ? And can someone point me in the direction of doing this ? doesnt make any problems does it ?

Do miss the dv sound and the grunt of the air filter though just cant be good for the car with all that heat soak.

what you'll of been hearing is chatter etc etc amplified through the cone filter my man, oe dv is not loud at all when std box is there, a bailey dv26 aint right loud on car either if you bought one, cant hear mine over the chatter which i prefer, not effecting performance either imo, best its run

    Yeah mate i've done mine.
I used 1 of these. Can't find the link to the astra 1, i got mine in a full kit.

Just take the 3 bolts out and put this in instead. Then i just took the line for the oe dump valve back to behind the airbox and stuck a bolt in it. (make sure it's tight and doesn't leak).

If you want to blank it off just put a one way valve In the vac line from oem dv just behind air box

Yeah you could put a 1 way valve in too.

The oe dv is on the turbo. At the front near the middle of the bay.

Find the black thin vacuum line that goes behind the airbox, the other end is connected to the dump valve.

look for a little round thing on the side of the turbo (under the BCS) its got a vac line coming off it, i changed mine for a forge diverter valve cus the OE ones are prone to splitting especially if you're gonna up your boost.

but yeah instead of blanking it use a one way valve from halfords (for washer jets) but i prefer to leave both valves running on mine! if u want a decent DV get a collins muuuch better than baileys! i have collins and diverter running on mine and it sounds brilliant!!

Right im sure that the pipe from behind my airbox goes onto the bottom of the baileys tho.... unless theres another 1.

I have a 1 way valve in the car actually which way does this want to be put ?

Rich how much are the forge diverter valves?
