    new clutch and flywhel problems

    I have just had a Helix 6 paddle clutch kit , Jbi flywheel and new slave cylnder fitted but have had trouble with it getting in gear?!?! clutch pedal feels good and how it should but it wont go into gear when running? any one else had this problem? thought mayby there is air in the system but the clutch pedal feels good?Its a long shot but any ideas or any one else had a similar problem?

    I have the same problem now, when I mounted sportclutch and lightened flywheel from "M-tech".. I did not changed the slave cylinder, but its weard if its the slave when it worked fine before...

    the problem in the end was the bolts that hold the clutch cover to the flywheel. . needed new bolts as original ones didnt clamp the cover down enough.

    ok, so the original bolts where to long? I`ve just fitted the new slavecylinder and mounted it all together and its still the same....

    no the originals bolts had a shoulder, if you look at the original flywheel it has the bolt holes and a recess to house the shoulder into it before the threads. . the new flywheel hasnt got this recess and as the shoulder on the oe bolt is wider then the new flywheels thread it wont go down in any farther. New 7mm bolts with a thread all the way up is needed and no shoulder.

    Thanks for the help adon, I will take out the gearbox again today and have a look at the pressure-platebolts and the flywheel.

    Now I have taken out the gearbox for the 3rd time, but I found out whats wrong..
    The flywheel whas wrong, it was 3,5mm to thin.. I contacted the company I bought it from(M-tech), but they have to order new flywheel from another company, so it will take a while for me to get a new one... So I tried to build out the slavecylinder 3,5mm to compansate the lenght, but when I mounted it again the clutch diddent grip.... So I will give it another try in a few days and build the slavcylinder 1mm bak again...
