    exhaust boo boo

hey guys im in a bit of a situation and need your advice, ive had just 1 bolt on my exhaust for a while so decided to put the bolt through the other hole but on undoing it ive snapped the mount on the centre section

ive tried finding a bolt that would fit the other hole but i cant for the life of me, and as im a bit skint i cant afford any bolts or a new centre section, as my mot is due next month im kind of caking it, what is the best thing to do to repair it? may have a welder to weld the 2 parts together for free but id rather not do that if i can help it. how can i secure it as i drive it every day

as GB says a pic is a must, but if you have snapped the flange or the area around the bolts then it will have to be a weld job of some sort or even a new flange connector. this should make it stable and blow free for the MOT

personally id chop both flanges off and weld on either a patch to join the 2 parts together to get u buy or better still make one connector larger so the 2 can be joined together with a U clamp

patched and welded together will probs be the cheaper of the 2

Will be buying the Remus payday now as well as your exhaust and have found a set of lowering springs so can't wait

bit the bullet and bought some bolts from halfords, it's now secure but still blowing so all sorted for the time being
