    mileometer lcd display went blank

    the lcd diplay that shows the car mileage has stopped working on my v reg 1.6 club,anyone know if this can be replaced on its own or do i need to replace the whole clocks assembly not sure if theres a bulb behind it with it being an lcd display its totaly blank even with lights on and the brightness switch turned up. any ideas most apreciated

    If you shine a torch over the digits, you should just about be able to work the digits out. Not that this will help much, but at least you'll know it's a bulb problem and not the display gone duff (unlikely).
