    Help with Alloys

    Hi i have just purchaced some 18" alloys with the stainless steel lip on them the lip has some damage any idea if can get new lips fitted or get them repaired?

    Dependant on the wheel make and model.

    If its a single piece alloy, and you want to retain the stainless look, you need a new lip rolling on, I got a quote for one of my 17" wolfrace wheels, for a new lip, balance, true and refurb was £96 per wheel

    How damaged is some damage? Stainless isn't so hard that you can't dress it by hand

    some light curbing on bits and a couple dent/ flat spots

    The kerbing can be sorted with a fine file to get rid of the inital roughness and then wet and dry.

    Flat spots etc are a bit more problematic.
