    Rear adapters for a coupe?

Hi all, just can't be bothered with fitting my sub now as would rather use my boot so I'm going to amp a bass heavy set of components in the rear.

Just a quick question - do the adapters fit or do I need them? I know people say there is loadsa room in the back but I don't want a 2" space between the speaker face and the grille - how much sound will be lost echoing around in the rear door card?!

You dont need them, but if you want to use them then use the SAK-3001 (same as the fronts) or make your own from MDF.
If you good with MDF & fibreglass you could fit an 8" sub in the rear quarter, you will need to build a box for it though.

Pic of 8" sub in my previous car.

Cheers man - might have to try another set of those awnky plastic things - probably gonna be better than me attempting to build MDF circles though!! Hopefully it'll give it a bit more kick - never realised how flat the rear speakers were until I changed the front ones!!
