    mk4 central locking problem help please

    ive got a astra 1.8 16v sxi mk4. the problem ive got is the remote central locking locks everything on the car apart from the drivers door? if i put the key in the door it locks everything, but obviously id like the remote to be working. just wondering what it could be and how i can sort it. thanks for any help.

    coul try changing the locking motor on your door as that could be faulty.

    Yeah most likely to be the lock mech which has the motor built into it but this could also be a broken wire or 2

    thanks for replys. i could try that but it still central locks when i lock it from the drivers door so i thought it might be something electrical? if im wrong let me know and ill try what you guys have suggested. many thanks craig

    The switch part of the door lockings working fine which is why it locks and unlocks from the drivers door but the motor part isn't
