been a few box problems but mainly with the diff exploding out of the front of the box, quite a few have been changed with noisy beaqrings or gear changes. it is what stops me putting one in my GSi

hi there, there was a vauxhall recall for clutch & flywheel also effecting the vectra. If dual mass was fitted at vauxhall take it back there but when you had dual mass fitted should have also replaced the clutch, if not thats prob the noise e.t.c what your getting.

Also did it have the e.c.u update one at the same time? as also recall.

I would check with your local vauxhall dealer for any outstanding recalls, even if out of warranty recalls still stand. and also if on a 56 plate if you phone vauxhall up sometimes the will contribute to repairs as just out of warranty if you have full vauxhall service hostory, if you haven't your buggered for any contribution's. but do above anyway. I am a vauxhall service/parts man and get these enquires and work everyday. hope this helps?

as long as you have service history you should get a contribution towards this item, also depending on mileage of vehicle.

enbracefan, what recalls do you mean? I've never carried out a recall on the flywheels or reprogram to somehow counter-act this fault?

Plus clutches are not always changed when DM flywheels changed although it should be offered to customer as clutches are not warrantied after a certain mileage
