    Newbie

    Hi All,

Thought I would pop in and say hi, have just recently bought a mk4 black 2.2 SRi and stumbled upon this place. Looks to be a well established site so hats off to you all.

Got a few plans for the car but nothing major. Just needs some bits sprayed up (door stirps and wing mirror base plates) plus maybe getting the windows tinted so if you have any recomendations for the Southampton area, that would be appreciated!

I would have come to the meet on the 28th my it's my stag weekend so wont be around But will deffo try for the next one

Here are some pics of the new motor

Any feedback suggestion is more than welcome.

    Anyway, take care all!

    Mav

Cheers all. I pretty new to the Vaux scene (I've been a blue oval man for the last god knows how long) so what would you consider the usual mods to be?

I want to get the cable to make a ALpine hu compatible with the hud and steering wheels control but sod paying £80 for it, that'll have to wait unless you know of any other ways

Haha, just took me about five minutes to figure out what you meant then by blue oval man, Was thinking why has he gone from a Subaru to a vauxhall astra, seems a strange move, then realised Ford has a blue oval too! lmao

Tell me about it! It's was being black that swayed it for me tbh. Where do you get the cable from? Presuming an autoleads one?

Well I would say lowering, debadge and debadged grill. All being cheap mods, depends what you want to do and how far you want to go with mods?
